Our Story

Chris Tovar was born in San Marcos, Texas and has lived in Central Texas his entire life.

In 1998, he formed a partnership company called TH Construction which focused on residential projects. During his tenure, Chris gained valuable hands-on experience in the field while building strong relationships across a long list of clients and suppliers.  In 2003, Chris moved toward the commercial side of the business by forming Tovar Construction Company.  In that time, he has worked on various commercial projects to further build on a growing list of satisfied clients.

Tovar Construction continues to maintain an A+ Rating under the Better Business Bureau. It's work has garnered attention from the "Best of the Best" feature conducted by Hill Country News. Chris is EPA & Lead Certified in removal of hazardous material. He has developed extensive construction experience and continues to strengthen his network of subcontractors and suppliers with each and every project he takes on.

Currently, Chris serves as the Financial Director on board of the YMCA Twin Lakes in Cedar Park.  He is also a member of the Leander Chamber of Commerce. From 2010-2013, Chris served as Chairman for the Leander Planning and Zoning Board.

Chris regards honesty and trust as the two most important values in the construction business and upholds this work ethic across all aspects of the company.  He is an active member of his church and volunteers his time across various charitable organizations.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys outdoor recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, golf, camping, and cheering for his daughters in all their team sports.
